Emerging Leaders insists that Aisha Yesufu needs urgent medical attention

The Emerging Leaders Forum of Nigeria, ELFON has criticized Mrs Aisha Yesufu for refusing to stand during the recitation of the “new” national anthem, saying “Aisha is letting her selfish wants becloud her sense of reasoning against national interest and rule of law”.

The ELFON National President, Godstime Chukwubuikem Samuel while addressing members of the Abuja Press Corps that demanded to hear from him at the Nnamdi Azikwe International Airport Abuja opined that the Aisha Yesufu may be depressed for not attaining the position of Minister of Humanitarian affairs which she wished forself if Peter Obi had been declared President of the Federal Republic of Nigeria.

“As a matter of urgency, Mrs Yesufu needs medical attention before her mental state gets out of control”, Godstime stated.

The Emerging Leaders head confirmed that Aisha’s trending act of not honouring her country has further damage the little regard the few of her admirers have for her and her family.

Aisha Yesufu had reportedly refused to stand during the recitation of the national anthem at an event, sparking controversy and debate.

Emerging Leaders Forum of Nigeria being a public interest organisation have added to the conversation, with most people listening to ELFON President while he was being interviewed by journalists agreeing with his stance on Aisha Yesufu’s latest action which he described as “Aisha Yesufu’s unpatriotic act of dishonour”.

Godstime noted that one of the reasons he was making the journey from Abuja to Kano was to prepare Emerging Leaders and the entire youthdom in Kano state on the need to have faith in Nigeria, remain patriotic, take the unity and peace of Nigeria serious.

“I am going to Kano now to address 2,415 Emerging Leaders and select youths in Kano who are waiting to recieve I and my team as we must not allow any Nigerian youth to be used as a tool to undermining the security, peace and unity of any part of our dear country Nigeria in any guise. Ofcourse, we will recite the new National Anthem together in that gathering when I get to Kano. I thank Governor Abba Yusuf for ordering a stop to all manner of protests in Kano state”, Godstime concluded.
